Please forward any notes for excused absences such as doctor/dentist appointments, medical procedures, court appearances, etc. to the Front Office or email to Reed.Beth@brevardschools.org. Missed school days or checking out a student for any other reason is unexcused.

If you know your student will be absent for any reason, please call the front office at 321-350-8766 ext. 35301 to let us know, so that we can indicate the absence in your student’s FOCUS account. Automated phone calls and emails are sent to the parents/guardians if students are absent and if there are excessive absences.

If your student arrives to campus after 9:30 am, please come with your student to the Front Office to check-in. Your student is considered tardy or absent without a doctor/dentist note, etc.

For the safety and well-being of your student, a parent must call the Front Office IN ADVANCE if anyone on the Emergency Contact list is checking out a student.

• This means in an emergency situation if you, as the custodial/registered parent(s) or documented legal guardian(s) are not available, you are instructing us to allow a person on your emergency contact list to check-out your student.

Custodial parent(s) or documented legal guardian(s) must call the front office at 321-350-8766 -IN ADVANCE- to give permission for a student to be checked out by any person named on the student contact list.

Anyone checking out a student must show Photo ID, including parents.

• Monday – Thursday:  3:45 pm

• Friday: 2:30 pm
