I am excited to announce myself as a member of Viera Middle Athletics . My deep love for the game of basketball has evolved over the years from being a competitive athlete to coaching the next generation of athletes.   I take pride in creating a positive and inclusive environment for my players that not only develops and expands their basketball skills but teaches the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and friendship.  I have coached locally in Brevard County for the Viera Recreational youth league, currently coach for East Coast United Girls Basketball and am thrilled to be the head coach of the Viera Middle School girls' basketball team.  Go Owls!

Assistant Girls Basketball Coach

Welcome, I was born and raised in Lake Tahoe California. My father was a basketball coach and I grew up in the GYM. I played all 4 years in HS with a undefeated win streak all 4 years and State Champions. This lead me to play one year of college basketball at Snow College in Utah. I graduated from Saint Leo’s University in Tampa Florida with a focus in mathematics. After working in the student support center at Daytona State College, I transitioned into the public schools in Florida and Alabama. This will be my 13th year in teaching. During my time in the public schools, I’ve had the honor to be a basketball coach at Indian Trails Middle School in Palm Coast Florida and a faculty representative for the boys soccer team at Bob Jones High School in Madison Alabama. From my experience, I have witnessed how sports impacts student achievement in a substantial way. Athlete’s often exhibit better concentration, problem solving skills, classroom behavior and time management which just leads into academic success. I am excited to be apart of an amazing new school and community that embraces sports as a long lasting mindset of growth and achievement for our students. GO OWLS.
